Musical Origins
Leeroy was born into a family of musicians, actors, singers and dancers, grandson of the first queen of African descent who had the Barranquilla carnival, Nelly Cáceres, also known as the queen of Mapalé, for being the one who brought these rhythms to the carnival. Leeroy being in a musical family, listened to different Latin genres, and at an early age realized his passion for interpretation. All these cultural and artistic influences are the basis of his career as a singer and songwriter.
Creative Process
My music is a reflection of my life experiences and emotions. I am constantly experimenting with different chord progressions and melodies, and I let my intuition guide me when it comes to songwriting. I believe that the best music comes from the heart.
Live Performances
I love performing live and thrive on the energy of the audience. I have played in various venues, from small nighclubs to large concert halls. My live performances are always filled with passion and energy.
